Friendship and Goodbyes

Don’t be dismayed by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends. – Richard Bach

I have never been good with goodbyes. In fact, I feel really sad when friends move away or pass away. I don’t have many close friends and when close friends leave, I feel as if my heart is going to break. True friends are rare. Those who genuinely care and those who remember you even if you are far away from one another. Those who won’t be afraid to tell you about your short comings or the side effects of healthy trim or whatever you are doing wrong. Even if you haven’t seen each other for a long time, time and distance doesn’t seem to change the friendship you share. The memories you share together linger in both your hearts and you both look forward to the day that you can be together again.

Most of my close friends are now far away and being the sentimental person that I am, I often think of them and wonder if we will ever be together again. Knowing that life has taken us far from each other, I’ve learned to accept the fact that is just the way life is. Though it doesn’t change the fact that in my heart – these people will forever stay special in my heart.

I am so glad that we are friends still. It has been a long time since we have been able to sit and chat. But I want you to know that we will do it again soon. One day I will be next to you again. Love you Chris
