Just before I called it a day, I logged on to Twitter and saw the devastating news. An earthquake has struck Chile at Saturday 3:34AM their local time. The quake registered at a magnitude of 8.8 on the Richter’s scale. It was reported at this news site that it lasted for about a minute and was followed by several aftershocks already.The quake has also triggered Tsunami warnings all across the Pacific rim of fire stretching from Japan to the Antarctic. The tsunami is expected to reach the shores within 24 hours.

This tragic news made me and my husband really sad. Thankful that the Philippines is safe, we still monitored the Tsunami and what has become of Chile after. I hope they will be able to recover soon…
These earthquakes are just heart breaking! All these thousands of people losing so much. It’s just so sad…
